Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, issued a stern warning to Israel on Saturday, urging an immediate halt to its attacks on Gaza. He cautioned that the conflict could potentially expand across the Middle East if Hezbollah becomes involved, posing the risk of a significant upheaval for Israel, akin to a "huge earthquake."

Speaking in Beirut, Amirabdollahian emphasized that Lebanon's Hezbollah group has meticulously considered various war scenarios, urging Israel to cease its Gaza attacks promptly. Israel perceives Hezbollah as its most formidable immediate threat, with an estimated arsenal of around 150,000 rockets and missiles, including precision-guided ones capable of reaching any part of Israel. Hezbollah, battle-hardened from its participation in Syria's 12-year conflict, also possesses diverse military drone capabilities.

Following last Saturday's attack by Hamas, Hezbollah fighters along Lebanon's borders with Israel are on high alert. In response to recent developments, the Israeli military reported a drone strike along the Lebanon-Israel border, targeting a group attempting to infiltrate Israel. On the previous day, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for firing rockets at four Israeli positions along the border.

Amirabdollahian issued a stark warning, stating, "I want to warn the war criminals and those who support this entity before it’s too late to stop the crimes against civilians in Gaza, because it might be too late in a few hours." The situation remains tense, with regional dynamics suggesting the potential for a broader and more complex conflict in the Middle East.
